Aldi's cult Thermomix knock-off is back for $500 — nearly a quarter the price of the designer version, which retail upwards of $2000. The Stirling-branded Smart Thermo Cooker goes on sale in select Aldi supermarkets from Wednesday as part of the chain's Special Buys range.
The shopper favourite is significantly cheaper than the market-leading designer version, the TM6 Thermomix from Vorwerk, which will set you back a cool $2269 — making the Stirling-branded cooker almost 80 per cent cheaper.
With over 400 in-built recipes to choose from, the Smart Thermo Cooker allows you to follow your recipe with step-by-step guided cooking. Simply add the ingredients, press play and the program will automatically select the duration, temperature and time.
