Servings: 8Cuisine: AmericanCategory: Dessert1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a rectangular baking dish with nonstick spray (the one we used was slightly smaller than 9x13, but you can use 9x13 if that's what you have).
2. Sprinkle half of the dry cake mix into your prepared dish. Then pour both cans of peaches (with the syrup) on top of the cake mix. Use a spoon to stir the peaches and syrup into the cake mix a little bit. Then sprinkle the rest of the cake mix on top and stir again. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top. Add the optional cinnamon/sugar on top, if using.
3. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until nice and golden brown on top. Serve warm with scoops of vanilla ice cream (if desired). Leftovers are also good at room temperature!

2. I use nonstick spray on my casserole dish because it makes cleaning it later easier. And the whole point of this recipe is to keep it easy.
3. Dump can of peaches into the casserole dish. With every delicious drop of juice! I cut a few of the thicker ones in half but you don’t have to.
4. Pour the dry cake mix on top. Straight from the box! Smooth it gently with a knife (or a spoon, or a fork or your fingers….) DON’T MIX IT. Yes, it stays dry and powdery on top of the peaches!
